- Provide leadership direction to Joint replacement and Mako sales team to deliver country top/bottom line. Improve efficiency or profitability independently or cross-functionally such as budget management, cost saving, forecasting, inventory management, CER etc.
- Create and maintain a network of cooperative relationships with business partners and key customers for business growth, and also to compile customer feedback.
- Management of distributors, third party agents & go-to-market model
- Create business synergy across different BU in MYSG
- Responsible to develop business case for JR franchise to support growth plan
- Work in partnership with Product Manager & Mako Capital Sales Manager on marketing execution plan & product registration. Build JR market insights (customers, competitors and environments) to leverage for business management.
- Responsible for JR pricing strategy, OEM product bundling, and quarterly sales campaigns.
- Work in collaboration with cross-functional leaders to improve efficiency on JR related operational executions/initiatives - ie bumi agent selection, 4PL management, margin negotiate, CAPA & KPI etc
- Uphold the Compliance culture and philosophy of the Company by ensuring the business is kept abreast and aligned with the highest code of ethic.
- Possible requirement to cover surgical cases
- Responsible for providing effective strategic and people leadership and influencing Marketing, MedEd, Ops, Finance, RAQA and other business supporting roles
- Enhance sales capabilities through talent development plan including product, clinical, soft skill training etc
- Embrace the key employees to continue the success in the organization and develop them. People performance management process (goal setting, progress check-in, annual performance review), providing coaching, constructive feedback and support to deliver strong performance and individual development within the team
- Bachelor's degree in related field; Science/Engineering/Medical/Pharma/Nursing degree
- Minimum 10 years of experience as sales in health care industry, with marketing experience preferred
- Experience in multinational medical company preferred and related to medical industry
- Previous orthopedic exposure or knowledge would be highly advantageous.
- Experience dealing with doctors & hospitals, familiar with medical terms preferred
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
